​​​I am Döner didn’t just pop out of nowhere—it was born from a proper mission. Michelin-trained chef Paul Baron, after learning from some of the UK’s top chefs, wasn’t satisfied with kebabs being just a greasy, late-night indulgence. He knew they had the potential for more—much more. So, he set out to reinvent the iconic döner, taking it back to its roots but giving it a proper British twist. With 53 premium ingredients, every kebab and bowl we make is packed with flavour and freshly baked flatbreads made in-store daily, using high-quality meats and the freshest ingredients. It’s not just about filling your belly; it’s about making your taste buds sing.

We’re reimagining the kebab, taking it beyond its role as a 2 a.m. guilty pleasure. Kebabs have been a staple of British late-night culture for over 60 years, especially during the Britpop era when a post-gig kebab was part of the experience. But we’re shaking things up—crafting kebabs you’d be proud to enjoy at lunch, dinner, or even a cheeky snack. Every kebab is completely customisable, letting you meet your nutritional goals, whether you’re aiming for something healthy and light or want to indulge.

Paul’s second love after kebabs is music. He studied it in college before diving into the culinary world and is committed to creating spaces that deliver good vibes alongside great food. With a deep passion for music, he’s collaborated on kebabs with incredible musicians and comedians and worked with an up-and-coming British producer to curate an all-British & Irish playlist. Expect pure bangers—from the British Invasion to Britpop, punk, garage, and indie rock—throwing back to the days when music had attitude. You’ll be humming Oasis, The Clash, and The Libertines long after your last bite.

CONSCIOUS CHOICES
And because we’re all about balance, we’ve ditched the plastic and gone 100% sustainable with our packaging. We’ve partnered with Earth Water, and we’re committed to conscious sourcing because we reckon it’s the least we can do for the planet. Oh, and did we mention free soft-serve ice cream? That’s right—seasonal flavours with every meal sold. Think strawberries and cream for Wimbledon and apple crumble on those cold winter nights. It’s the cherry on top of an already banging meal.

And we’re not staying put. I am Döner is taking this mission global. We’ve made our mark across the UK, shaken up the kebab scene in Dubai, and now we’re landing in Canada, bringing our crafted British kebabs to the streets of Toronto. Wherever we go, the mission stays the same: to take the humble kebab, elevate it, and show the world that this British classic deserves a proper place at the table—day or night.

TAILORED TO TORONTO
We didn’t just copy and paste our UK menu and store design to Canada. Instead, we immersed ourselves in Toronto for a summer, truly getting to know the city and its vibrant food culture. We’ve adapted our recipes to cater to local tastes while ethically sourcing the finest meat, produce and sauce from local suppliers. We’ve partnered with incredible local operating partner who share our vision, supported by an epic team dedicated to delivering outstanding kebabs, bowls, and top-notch service.
